SPATULA, LABORATORY (Hard rubber)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This Commercial Item Description covers one type of rubber spatula for laboratory use.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be hard rubber spatula with handle suitable for use in laboratory procedures. The spatula shall conform to the dimensional data as listed in Table I.

The blade and handle shall be fabricated of a black hard flexible rubber which shall be chemically inert. The handle shall afford a comfortable and efficient grip. The material of construction shall have the following requirements as listed in Table II.
