The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This commercial item description covers a twelve (12) place dispenser for BBL brand sensitivity discs, for use in bacteriological sensitivity testing by the Kirby Bauer method.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be a twelve (12) place dispenser for dispensing BBL brand impregnated paper discs (contained in dispensing cartridges) onto a 150 millimeter (mm) diameter agar surface.
Shall be suitable for accommodating stock listed BBL dispensing cartridges containing the following types of paper susceptibility test discs:
